HOW TO START

1. Batteries are included in this product. Please remove the plastic film tab on the back of the product to turn on the Pocket Pet
2. When activated, the screen will display '168 in 1'. When this appears use the 'SELECT' button to choose your desired pet. Once you have chosen your pet, click 'DECIDE' to confirm. 
3. After selecting your pet, you will need to set your current time. Use the 'SELECT' button to set the time; click 'DECIDE' once you have correctly set the time. 
4. Choose a name for your pet. Use the 'SELECT' button to pick your name. Click 'DECIDE' once you have chosen the name.
5. Once steps 1-4 have been completed, the pet will be born and you are now ready to raise your pet!  

BUTTON DESCRIPTIONS

• RESET: If you wish to raise a different pet, or are unhappy with your first decisions, click this button to start the game again
• SELECT: This button will allow you to select and toggle between different options. 
  • When feeding, you can choose the type of food you want to give to your pet with this button
  • In game mode, use this button to move left and right
• DECIDE: This button confirms your selection and allows you to proceed with the game
• CANCEL: Exit/Go Back Button

PET METER

Check the status of your pet

• AGE: The age of your pet. If you feed, care, play, and learn with your pet often, your pet will grow quickly.
• FOOD: Indicates your pet's hunger level. To play games and learn new skills, your pet must eat well! 
• GOLD: Indicates the monetary status of your pet. This will allow you to buy items for your pet. 
• NAME: The name of your pet.

FEEDING

• When feeding your pet, you can choose between 'BREAD' or 'CAKE'
• Use the 'SELECT' Button to choose the food; click 'DECIDE' to confirm and feed your pet! 

BATHROOM

• Even Pocket Pets need to go to the bathroom! 
• If your pet needs to use the bathroom, a poop indicator will appear on screen
• If it appears, click 'SELECT' to enter toilet mode
• Once in toilet mode, click 'DECIDE' to let your pet use the bathroom

GAME 

• To age up your pet, they need to play & exercise to learn and grow! 
• Use the 'SELECT' button to decide which game you would like to play with your pet
• Click 'DECIDE' once you have chosen your game
• GAME OPTIONS
  • CATCH: This game will allow your pet to exercise!
    • Use the 'DECIDE' button to play catch with your pet
  • AIRPLANE: teach your pet to avoid obstacles! 
    • Use the 'SELECT' and 'DECIDE' buttons to move your pet left and right to dodge the falling obstacles
  • SHOP: pamper your pet with a shopping spree!
    • Use 'SELECT' and 'DECIDE' to shop for your pet
    • Purchased gifts can be found in your pet's collection

EXERCISE:

• SCHOOL: Play computer games with your pet to increase their knowledge
• PLAY: Let your pet play with their friend! Click the 'DECIDE' button for your pet to play on the swing with their friend. 
• TRANSFORM: To transform your pet, click 'DECIDE' 
  • You can only transform your pet if you have purchased them an item and it is in your collection

SCHOOL:

• Train your pet's knowledge in 'SCHOOL' mode
• Enter 'SCHOOL' Mode by using the 'SELECT' button
• To train your pet, click 'DECIDE' 

TREATMENT:

• If your pet is feeling sick, a sick emoji will appear on the screen. 
• If it appears, click 'SELECT' to enter TREATMENT mode
• Once in TREATMENT mode, click 'DECIDE' to heal your pet

MAILBOX: 

• Your pet may receive a random lucky gift! When you receive this gift, your pet's happiness will increase!
• If you were sent a random lucky gift, a mailbox display will appear. 
• If it appears, use the 'SELECT' and 'DECIDE' buttons to open the gift. 
  • If you receive the random lucky gift, your GOLD statistic will increase
  • If you do not get a random lucky gift, you will see a poop emoji 

COLLECTION:

• View all of the items you have purchased for your pet here. 
• You can also see your lucky gifts you have received here too. 
• Receive extra lucky gifts when you play the password game on the key-shaped screen
  • Enter a 3-digit password as your guess; click 'DECIDE' 
    
  • If you have guessed correctly, you will receive a lucky gift. 

SATISFACTION CALL

• Sometimes your pet will need to increase their happiness and satisfaction. 
• If your pet needs this, a happy/sad face emoji will appear. 
• If this emoji appears, try all of the different modes until the emoji disappears and your pet is happy.
